10 Years ago today we began Virginia Wine Time. Since then we’ve posted 914 articles and racked up 602 comments and visited 178 Virginia wineries. We’ve gained more than 5000 followers on Twitter and over 1200 followers on Facebook. We thank you all for sticking with us all these years.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary we went to Eno Wine Bar to attend the tasting of the Breaux Vineyards Eno Cuvee’ Meritage. Winemaker Heather Munden was there to talk about the wine. We had a great time chatting with her about what’s going on at Breaux. We really enjoyed the Eno Meritage. If you get to Eno, be sure to ask for a glass. You won’t be disappointed.
In the months to come we plan to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the blog with special posts. Return often to keep up with the posts.
Thank you for all the love over the years!

Today is our 9th blogiversary! Nine years ago today we started Virginia Wine Time. In that time we’ve visited 171 wineries in Virginia. We still have many more to visit. We have 878 posts about wine with 577 comments from readers like you! While blogs have lost some of their popularity over the years, we do plan to continue to visit Virginia wineries and post about our experiences here. So be sure to come back often to find out where we have been and what we think of the wines we tasted!
A HUGE thank you for continuing to check it and share our experiences. Without our readers, there wouldn’t be a point to the blog.

We are taking this week off to recharge. We’ll be back next week with more posts about our recent winery visits. We’ve got several visits to report about so come back next week!

Swirl, Sip, Snark and Cellarblog have posted pictures of their wine racks. I’m very impressed with their wine storage. Frank from Drink What You Like also kicked in his photo on Twitter. They have issued a challenge for all Virginia wine blogs to post about their wine storage. Wanting to be part of the in crowd and participate I decided to show how I store my wine. I have two separate areas for my wine. I store them both in my dining room. I have one rack just for white wines and then on the other side of the room I have two racks for all my red wines. Both racks are organized by winery. My wine collection is almost exclusively Virginia wine so I can store them on the racks by winery. This works out well when I’m looking for a specific wine from a specific winery. So here are the pictures of my wine racks. How do you store your wine?
White wine rack…I also have several bottles chilling in the refrigerator.
Red wine racks.
Not to leave out Warren, I will say that he stores his wine in several places around his house. He has most of them in a closet that keeps a pretty constant temperature and lots of darkness.
